Do any reliable resin casters offer a '65 Ford Galaxie convertible?

Back in the '60s, my parents and my older brother owned '65 ragtops, and I'd like to do at least one of those cars.

If one isn't available in resin, what will it take to accurately modify the AMT kit?

I believe that Kevin from the Detroit area had a '65 Galaxie convertible body at one time.

Missing Link (Kevin) cast a 66 Ford convertible.  Not sure if he still makes them though.

It wouldn't be difficult to cut the roof off an AMT 65 Galaxie.  You would need to find a suitable boot to cover the top well.

The '65 convertible shows up on Ebay fairly often. If you absolutely must have an unbuilt kit, then they can be pricey. But clean built ups are cheaper than resin.

I do have 1 body left....no boot but a 65 body!

If you are able to get a 65 hardtop kit, and a 65 or 66 boot, a nice conversion is doable. I did one several years ago.

I dont even know if the mold is still alive or how good it is...i will try to get a look at it this week
