Microscale Decals

Has anybody ever had custom decals made through Microscale? I have some older OOP decals that I was hoping to get copies made of and I was wondering if they do this type of work? I was going to contact them after the holiday weekend but I wanted to see if anybody has had any dealings with them on  this end.

I've never tried it, but have been wondering the same... If you find out anything, please post it.

They have minimum order sizes and set up fees etc. I don’t think they are the ones to do one off sheet, but you can check. I inquired a few years ago and they were very informative but it’s a bit of a process and cost.

That's what I understand as well Erik. I've just sent them an email so hopefully I'll hear back tomorrow and I'll share what I find out.

They do have a minimum order (250 sheets), and will be quite pricey (especially if multiple colors are needed).  Providing a print-ready artwork (in vector format) makes it less expensive but still pricey.

Their reply confirmed what some of you said:

We would be happy to print waterslide decals for you.  Our minimum run is 250 sheets and the price is based on the size of the sheet, the number of colors including the clear carrier and the quantity ordered.  If you need us to create a digital file for you our art charge is $50.00 per hour with a one hour minimum.

Definitely out of my price range and scope but at least the info is out there for anyone who is interested.
