Janne Herajärvi Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Hello, here is amt Thunderbird i finished lately.. I had some issues while building it but i think results are ok.. Could be better still.. Its my last brush paint job so far, since i have started to use Tamiya rattle can paints for body work now.. Cheers...
Lovefordgalaxie Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 I'm always impressed by your brushed on paint jobs. The Thunderbird looks very nice and cool. When I built mine, I used the "custom" front spindles to lower the front endAlso had problems making the interior to fit the body. It was a very tight fit, and that with no paint on, just on the dry fitting. Had to do some serious sanding to avoid disaster after the paint came on.
Janne Herajärvi Posted November 25, 2017 Author Posted November 25, 2017 Thank you.. and yes, front end should be lower, but i was looking forward to upcoming projects so i did leave it as it is now..
TooOld Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Beautiful T-Bird , love the color ! And I agree your brush paint jobs have always been very impressive .
Slotto Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Very nice. I wouldn't have known it was brush painted unless you told me.
donb Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Love that kit (minus the interior bucket issue). Your car looks very nice. Grest interior too!
High octane Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Very nice build on that "Bullet Bird" and I too wouldn't have known that it was brush painted either. I wonder if I'll ever get around to building mine, as I have built a few back-in-the-day, however they are no longer around.
YBlock292 Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 Hi Janne, nice color combo. By the way, this is my Version of the bird.... Greetings from Germany, Ludwig
