2010 Shelby GT500 - Revell

As a companion to my 2013 Boss 302 build I present my 2010 Shelby GT500. Details are: Exterior - Colorado Red and cleared with urethane and polished, Interior - Dupicolor Black Primer. Built right out of the box.

Thanks Christopher. They are decals. Took me about 90 mins to put down.

Great finish on this one! Did you have to use a multilayer polish kit for the clear coat?

I used 3600 grit to 12000 grit on all surfaces and polished out with Meguairs 105 compound till all fine scratches were gone. Hope this helps.

Yeah I'm always eyeballing it on evilbay and in box stores but I just haven' pulled the trigger on it yet. I have at least 12 kits waiting in their wrapper still and haven' found the right deal on one yet. I picked up my shelby from Michael's on clearance for $12. Eventually I will build it tho.

Fantastic beauty. Looks like it's real...lots of Ford dealers would love to have this in their showrooms in 2013
