retriever Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 This model Is built from the original 1/32 scale Pyro kit which was late re-issued by Life Like. Built OOB but with substituted disc wheels from a Duesenberg kit. (The wire wheels were really bad!) Hope you like it, Tony
bbowser Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Looks great! Hard to believe it's a Pyro kit. Their 1/32 stuff seems to be better proportioned than the 1/24 from back in the day.
ChrisBcritter Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Nice to see you do justice to one of the old Pyro Classics. Have you built one of their '32 Pierce Arrows yet?
unclescott58 Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Looks very nice. Some of those 1/32 Pyro classic and brass era car models could be quite nice.
peekay Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Nice looking model and a smart move swapping the wheels.
Eric Macleod Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I like it. I've never built this one but did do their Piece Arrows and the Lincolns in 1:32. Nice kits.

In both cases I really screwed up the paint..... so lost interest and they both went back in their boxes! And after all that work in molding in those fender mounted headlights. Maybe I'll dig them out and have another go........ they're both beautiful cars. Have you built them? Tony
ChrisBcritter Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Got the roadster near mint unbuilt for $3 at the DuPage meet; it's in my to-do pile. Looks like a very nicely detailed kit, and yes, I'm looking forward to fitting those headlights too!
