Looking for year made for AMT Don Garlits' Wynn Jammer Model Car

Hello All!

I just picked up an AMT Don Garlit Wynn Jammer "World's First 200 M.P.H. Fuel Dragster." #T257-200 at an estate sale (not assembled). I cannot find the year it was made.  Can anyone help me?  Can't find anything comparable on ebay.  There are a lot of Wynn Jammer Dragster's but nothing like the one I have.  The top cover has just a picture of the dragster. Thanks so much for any help I can get!

looks like a july 1964

Look on the back of the decal sheet, AMT puts the month and year of release.

The record run was Aug 2, 1964

The #T257 is the part number of the kit, the 200 was suggested MSRP ($2.00).  So that kit dates back to an original issue, not familiar with the kit so I can't offer any ideas on release date.

1964 originally. Reissued a few times after that.
