Robbo Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 (edited) This is my latest project, completed two weeks ago. Only joined the forum this week. Painted in the South Australian Ambulance Service colours. They say that if it aint broke, then don't fix it. If it is, only two items are required. If it's tight, WD40 and if it's loose, Duct tape. Robbo. Robbo Posted July 4, 2008 Author Posted July 4, 2008 Hello there friend! Now this takes the game to a whole new level Is it included w the kit or all works done by yourself. Welcome to the playground too!! peace ajulia Hello ajulia, the electronics do not come with the kit, they are all my own development. I have pics of construction and video clips showing operation. Circuit diagrams are also posted. Some models are plastic kit builds with my own adaptions and body mods, while others are completed diecast models, stripped down to bare parts, modified to take the electronics. Clear epoxy resin is the go for securing Leds for head and tail lights etc in place. I have always thought that bringing models 'to life' is the way to go. For those who may find the electronics a little daunting, I recommend that you enlist the help of friends that are into electronics as a hobby. It is very rewarding to share. I trust that this helps you, cheers, Robbo.

Hi there Benzo, Yes, you are correct, I'm in Fairview Park adjoining TTG. I'm currently working on small rotating beacons. Have one on a 1:18 scale fire appliance, but its rather large compared with what I want to get down to. The first prototype is almost ready to go. Cheers, Robbo.
rollinoldskoo Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 i've seen some working police cars and stuff on youtube... pretty cool stuff
kasteer Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 First, that's a great looking model. Second, The electronics/lights are an awesome modification. I thought just adding parking lights would be cool, but you took it to a whole new level. Great work!
