TooOld Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 This may be old news to some but Kidde is recalling nearly 40 million fire extinguishers . They may not discharge when needed and may even explode ! The extinguishers affected were manufactured with plastic handles or push buttons , and are primarily used in autos , boats , and RV's . Go to the Kidde website to see if you have an affected extinguisher . If you do it will be replaced free , you don't have to return the old one . It's worth checking . I had two that will be replaced , one of them is nearly 15 years old ! http://www.kidde.com/home-safety/en/us/

I checked mine and it's the Badger brand and not part of their recall so I'm good on this but it's very important to have at least one in the garage and the Kitchen both.
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Thanks. Good to know. All of mine are Kidde.
