426 pack Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 It’s the revell Sox and Martin Plymouth HEMI cuda kit and I’m using the BIG HEMI from the revell Tom mongoose Mcewen rail car kit with a homemade pro charger. The frame is from an old kit that I had biult but I was never happy with the way it turned out. I want to biuld something that I would want to drive in the hot rod drag week so it will have license plates, lights and maybe even a trailer full of racing stuff. Coments welcome. Dose anyone know how many C.I the engine is.
NYLIBUD Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 The car has a great stance. Can't wait till it's done.
Metaldrumm Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Nice choice on the engine ,just built that kit, looking good so far.
Scott Colmer Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 If I remember right, the current CI limit is 500. I'm not sure how long ago that became the rule. They might tell you in the Mongoose intructions text.
comp1839 Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 the top fuel limit is 500. the max limit on a gen 2 hemi is around 632 with an aftermarket iron block. 4.600 bore x 4.750 stroke. although on a blown application like this, i don't think you'd want to go over a 4.500 bore.
426 pack Posted January 26, 2018 Author Posted January 26, 2018 Thanks guys. I got the intake and the pro charger biult. I got the engine mocked up and I’m happy with the way it looks.
