Casey Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 No idea where this came from, bit it is molded in black plastic and larger than the Cal Custom scoop from the Revell '55 Bel Air HT kit:
Snake45 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 No idea but that would be great for a mid-'60s Gasser or street fighter!
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 It is a hood scoop from a monogram 39 chevy coupe.
GMCMAN52 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 (edited) Casey, not sure where that scoop came from but I have the same one from years back. I had sanded the ridge on top down and used the scoop on the hood on my 60 Pontiac Catalina SD build. Edited January 29, 2018 by GMCMAN52
Mercuryman54 Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) Ford used a scoop on early Super Duty trucks {Late 50's into the 60's} that I believe that Pontiac bought from Ford or the Ford vendor to use on their Super Duty cars. Same scoop!! Ford used with the opening to the back, Pontiac to the front. Dennis Edited January 30, 2018 by Mercuryman54
