camarobuilder Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 It began as a Revell kit. The BBC engine and TH400 transmission were borrowed from an AMT 1968 El Camino. The engine is plumbed, wired, and has throttle linkage. The crab cap distributor was scratchbuilt, as was the flat firewall. The wheels were pirated from a Revell Pro Stock Oldsmobile, and the rear tires are from a NASCAR model. The seats came from a Revell Pro Stock, and the roll bar was scratchbuilt. Interior "carpet" is flocked. The paint is rattle can Duplicolor Ford Taurus "Electric Current Red" with no clearcoat with kit black stripes. Emblems, turn signals, key ring, and RD headlights are from Model Car Garage. Grille has been opened.
TarheelRick Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Really nice, cleanly built Camaro, looks ready to rumble. Just hope the trips are not too long or it is going to run hot without a fan.
