I started this one about a month ago, some of you may have noticed it on my website. Its a reissue of Revell's Heavy Hugger F/C. Overall the kit is very well detailed but the body lacks accuracy. The roof just isn't accuracte... Looks like the A pillars were laid back or something. Anyway I took the roof from an AMT 70 Camaro and with a little cutting and puttying the body is done. For some reason the engine is a Ford as well, I'll replace that later. I plan on doing minor detailing, nothing wild. Whos F/C it will be is still to be decided.

Sure beat paying $30 for a resin body! I'll try to keep it updated...

Here's an update. I was at a loss for an engine so I ordered a Ross Gibson Chevy F/C engine. I also got the frame together and painted and got the suspension in place. Not much left. I'm not going to go overkill on detail, probably just some fuel and oil lines later. I may go ahead and finish this one up before I'm done with the pro mod.

Not really sure yet on a color, not even sure whos f/c it will be! I was thinking about Hugger Orange for the color but I also was thinking about Le Mans blue...

Very cool project! It's coming along really nice. The roof is a vast improvement.

That's a subject you don't see very often.

Thanks,
