Started this project a couple days ago. Kit is the "new" Platz (NuNu) BMW M6 GT3 kit. Kit is pretty nice, not Tamiya quality but on par with Fujimi. There is a bit of flash on some of the parts trees but over all not terrible. I also have the detail set that was release by Platz for this kit, a very nice detail set, it comes with a couple sheets of PE, some seat belt fabric and three sheets of diecut CF decals.

Engineering on the kit is again, decent, not Tamiya quality, but still good. The NACA ducts behind the doors are a terrible fit, huge gaps to fill and required a lot of work to get blended in to the body. Other than that the body is straight forward with some minor mold lines to remove. I haven't started on the interior yet, later today perhaps.

For now, some body shots...paint is Gravity Colors titanium white. Decals are from the kit, they pretty good and lay down not too bad. I've read of other people having issue with them needing a lot of Microsol to get them down so I used Walther's Solvoset on mine which is stronger than Microsol.

Wheels are done, I still need to varnish over the decals (that's done, just haven't take a pic of them yet) and detail out the center nuts. I added the tape markings on the rims even though Rowe Racing didn't do that on their car at Spa. I just like the looks of them on the spokes. The Pirelli decals are from the kit but the rest of the detail decals are from Powerslides modern sports car decals sheet.

A few more small sponsorship decals to go before clear. I also have a few spots that the decals didn't cover so I'll have to touch them up with some paint before clear. Now it's time for some breakfast then back to finishing the decals off today since it's rainy and cold here.

Comment and criticisms always welcome.

That looks GREAT!  I was away from the hobby for a few years and I'm not aware of recent players.  Not familiar with that company  but I'll look into it.

Thanks for the replies guys.

It's produced in conjunction with BeeMax but I think Platz mostly does military models. I'm not sure how many auto kits they've done.

It was released the end of last year. Originally was suppose to be released Oct 2016 but kept getting delayed until it was like 10 months late on release.
