lou s Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 (edited) Is the revell 1/25 scale jeb allen rear engine dragster kit the same tooling as the 1974 revell 1/25 scale Don Prudhomme rear engine kit? Specifically the body tooling of what looks to be the front wing.Looks like a hammer head.asking because I have the decals for prudhomme car but need a matching kit.If not what kit is a match.thanks Edited May 13, 2018 by lou s
Straightliner59 Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Pretty sure the only difference in the plastic may be the wheels.
Adhsdad Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 The front wing looks to be different. On the Snake car, it looks to be more a rectangular shape where as on the Allen car it has more of a airplane wing look.
Mr mopar Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 All these dragsters are the same except for a few different panels ,and wing end plates .
Daddyfink Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 That nose was specific to the Prudhome car. That was one of the biggest differences between these kits. Some came with front wire wheels or with Super Tricks. The Garlits and California Special cars have slotted rear wheels

When you mentioned it, I thought, "Seems like, at some point, I remember hearing that, about the Snake car." But, I certainly didn't remember it, offhand.
