Lizard Racing Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 On finishing the Jimmy Vasser Reynard (see previous post), I realized that I had a 40-year spread of Indy car development. They are (l to r): '68 Eagle (Bobby Unser); '74 McLaren (Johnny Rutherford); '88 Lola (Mario Andretti); '98 Reynard (Jimmy Vasser). The older two are survivors built "in the day" and the other two are more recent builds. Pole Day on Sunday and the race in two weeks!!
Gt fan Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 Great looking collection... Great to see more Indy cars
bbowser Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 I love to see more Indy cars posted! Your stable is very cool. I've built the McLaren (not easy) and have the Gurney Eagle in the stash. All you need now is Parnelli's roadster
droogie Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Excellent collection ! You can never have too many Indy car models.
Lizard Racing Posted May 19, 2018 Author Posted May 19, 2018 Mr. bbowser: Funny you should mention Ol' Calhoun. I just resurrected the old project and am waiting for fresh decals from Indycals.

I have a roadster that needs new decals as well, I think I'll move it a little closer to the top of the pile.
ismaelg Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Lovely collection! I did Gurney's '68 Eagle a few years ago.
Phildaupho Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 I would like to see more photos of this fantastic historic collection
