Congrats to Will Power on winning the 2018 Indy 500!  He drove a smart race and kept his head at the end, knowing the two guys ahead had to stop for fuel one last time.  He also did not try to pass Charlie Kimball on the last lap.  J. R. Hildebrand tried that in 2012 and it cost him the race on the last lap.

Oriol Servia had to make a desperate splash-and-go stop, but at that wound up 17th.  That shows how competitive Indy cars are these days.  I believe there were 20 cars on the lead lap.

Hi,

I'm watching it now actually, loving it!

I don't really care who won but rather how they won.  The cars look better but there seems to be less action in terms of passing due to the reduced down force over all.  Plus less drafting.

I'll be very  curious to see how Alonso does when he comes back to a very different Indy car.
