Baja Humbug and an improvised paint stand

I'm sure I'm not the only old fart on medication. These big pill bottles make nice improvised paint stands and the lid gives extra stability against accidental tip-overs.

I started using my old pill bottles for making wheel tubs a long time ago.

I hadn't even considered that. I've just been taping parts to them for quick painting. I'm starting to look at things to do on the cheap - the driver for the Humbug is painted mostly in cheap craft pains from Hobby Lobby. Even the Metallic Blue helmet is a $1.59 bottle that was 30% off! It went on fine and dried nice.
