OldNYJim Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) I found this Hemi in a bunch of old parts, and I'm using it on a build I'm doing...but anyone know which kit this thing came from? Interestingly, I stripped the chrome on those rocker covers and the plastic underneath was yellow rather than orange so they may not be the right ones for this engine...any clues anyone? Eshaver Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Only Revell comes to mind as this has the look of an old Ford F E engine block look to it . Even then, I'm only 50% sure .....
Mark Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 That's a mix of parts. The valve covers don't go with the engine.

Ohhhh, interesting....I assumed it was a Hemi from the valve covers, but apparently not! No wonder I couldn't find a reference pic of a Hemi that matched it
Daddyfink Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Those horrible HEMI valve covers are from the MPC Ramchargers Dragster Not my build
larman Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 Not 100% sure, but I think that block is from an old Lindberg hot rod kit, an early hemi, perhaps the one that was in their "32 Ford Roadster". It's got a molded in distributor and intake, and look's like it was poorly cribbed from an old Trophy Series AMT kit. A hallmark sign of those Lindberg kits.
