Rusty92 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Just a couple Chevys I have completed. The Chevelle is the AMT 1969 SS396 and I love this kit. This is probably the first model kit that I really really liked. I enjoy all of them, but this one was a lot of fun. The other one is the AMT 68 Camaro. You'll notice the putty work seems a little off, that is on purpose. I wanted to simulate the bondo or fiberglass work that has been sitting for years on an old worn out drag car. This kit was also a lot of fun. Mismatched fenders, some rust, a piece of wire holding on the side pipe (which is also broken). The Camaro needs some finishing up, I think I got side-tracked and began work on another kit... Thanks for looking.

Oldcarfan27 Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 (edited) Nice job, I really like the weathering and the stance of the Chevelle - it's got "70s street hero" all over it! Go see my post under "General" regarding gassers and street freaks, this is exactly what I had in mind. Thanks for the inspiration. Edited July 26, 2018 by Oldcarfan27
DumpyDan Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Very cool, really like that 69 Chevelle. Well done good looking weathering job.
larryq Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Excellent work on the Chevelle and the Camaro. Absolutely LOVE the bondo sitting on the Camaro wheel well, looks far too realistic, like some hack body work I've seen over the years.
