I just want to say Thanks to You and Golden Bell Press, I must have the Worst Mail man in New Jersey most of the time my magazine shows up with bent pages and or a slight tear of the cover, Well the May/June issue came Wednesday well at least Half of it! I called the Subscription Department to Order a Replacement Issue, When I told Sharon what happened she said that she would get a replacement copy out right away FREE!!! Now thats what I call Service!!

Thanks again for a GREAT Magazine and GREAT Service.

I think your mailman's brother delivers the mail here in Charlotte as it just dawned on me that I was missing the April & May issues! Either that or they have some modelers down at the P.O. and they are holding out on me! I seem to get my "other" car model mag okay so it must be the fancier pages of MCM that gets the eye of the PO employees.

I too, called the Customer Service department @ Golden Bell and they said they would get replacements out to me and apologized for the delays. Hopefully they will come in a plain brown wrapper (like some of "those" magazine) so the mailman keeps his paws off of them!

The girls at the office really do care about our readers.

I hear some horror stories about how bad the mag arrives, and I've had one or two myself show up mangled.

A quick update and again, major kudos to the office. When I called in on August 1, I was told replacements would be sent out and they apologized for the delays. I went to the mailbox on Monday, August 4 and there they were!

I figured it would be several more days before I would see them as it is quite a distance from Denver to Charlotte.

After reading them, I have some ideas for some builds now!

I have also had the same experience as you. Every issue I receive is damaged to some extent. One issue was missing 1/4 of the magazine looking like it was in a paper shreader. I called Golden Press and they were great and sent me a replacement issue. I'm willing to pay the extra money for the magazine to be sent in clear sealed wrappers. It would also save Golden Press from sending out additional copies to replace damaged ones. What do you all think about this idea. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
