W Humble Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 For me to sign in on MCM Forums, I have to reset my password every single time; if I don't I inevitably get an 'invalid password' message, check caps lock' etc. message -- and after a second try my account is locked for 15-min. Sometimes, folks, after the first try -- and my password IS entered correctly! This has been going on for a month or two, and when I report the problem via 'contact us' absolutely nothing happens. C'mon; I'm not doing all this wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME: something in this site is broken and not getting fixed. Help! When I do access the forums, mostly to trade old plastic parts, the other members respond and I get the email notifications, but then I can't log on and they think, I suppose, that I'm not interested, or am dissing them. Quite the contrary, I'm very interested in getting help to restore my 'collection' that goes back to the 'fifties, and am not progressing due to the lack of communication and contact, via MCM Forum. Does anyone else experience this frustration? I'll wager there are! Is there a solution? What's going on? Wick H.
Xingu Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Others had this problem and it was related to software they used to store their passwords and/or security settings. I will tag this so Dave can take a look at it.

Expand Considering it isn't happening to everyone, it's not something the forum is causing. Check your web browser's security setting first.
Dave Ambrose Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Do you have your browser configured to store passwords? Are you using a 3rd party password manager? The forum should actually remember your last session and take you back there. Do you have cookies disabled in your browser?
