BobS71 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 1. I dumped Flickr. Whatever other hosting sites do many of you use ? 2. Are there any people on this forum who are really good painters? The reason I ask is because I have some nasty breathing issues and it may not be a good idea to be around rattle cans trying to paint. I am almost at that stage in my build. It is only the cab and hood and just one color. Any interested parties can email me at weyrleader@netzero.net Thanks Bob
gotnitro? Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 I use fotki for hosting pics , but found it unnecessary here since they allow photos to be downloaded directly from my phone. I just click the paperclip , find image I want from device , and it uploads here..most of the time .
Foxer Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 (edited) I have a paint booth in the basement that exhausts to the outside. My wife, who has asthma and is very sensitive to every smell, is not bothered at all. And I use spray cans to paint whenever I can. Edited September 29, 2018 by Foxer
BobS71 Posted September 29, 2018 Author Posted September 29, 2018 Thanks for the replies. Gotniitro? If you can upload images from your phone could it be done from a PC? Foxer- the problem I have is my landlord wouldn't allow it. Thanks anyway. Bob
gotnitro? Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Hey Bob I have to use 3rd party hosting on other forums, that's when fotki comes in. Theres numerous sites that'll work..I just picked that one. I transfer any photos from my phone to the site , then upload to forums using the copy - paste method . Fotki...and many others have a list of links you'd use for this. Photobucket used to be the common host but after taking everyone's pics hostage I left . Hope this helps , if still unsure ask any questions we'll definitely try to help theres tons of help here that's why I like the forum so much
gotnitro? Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 About your paint sensitivity, would it be possible to use a respirator for painting where you would spray rattle cans ?
Yahshu Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 I'm bronchial asthmatic & I use a twin cartridge respirator & have no problems with either spray cans or spray gun.
BobS71 Posted October 2, 2018 Author Posted October 2, 2018 Thanks for the replies. As far as photo hosting goes there are many lists to choose from, I'll just have to see which one fits my needs and is easy to use. For the painting, I think I'll probably paint it outside. Bob
Warren D Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 I've used PBase for almost 20 years for photos.
