Monty Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 IIRC, this is a resin copy* of a 1/24 Monogram wheel from one of their B-body Mopar kits. I love everything about the original 1:1 design, and IMNSHO, Monogram captured its essence perfectly. The only issue I have is that it may look a little too big for the 1/25 cars I'd like to use it on. I'm wondering if anyone can think of a 1/25 wheel that looks as close as possible to the picture I posted. Pics would be great. If you've used this 1/24 wheel (styrene or resin) on a 1/25 car and liked the results, post up a pic of that build. *Our friend and fellow board member Casey happens to offer this wheel and several others on ebay under the name forward_resin. Very nice stuff.
Deuces Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Looks like an American Racing Torq-Thrust mag... The B.F. Goodrich Corvette kit has those in 1/25 scale... Sorry, no pictures... ?
Deuces Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 (edited) Here's one from my Revell "Big T" kit... The dust cap from the "Big Deuce" kit is a perfect fit.... Edited October 1, 2018 by Deuces

"I'm wondering if anyone can think of a 1/25 wheel that looks as close as possible to the picture I posted" Monty, try the mags from the 1/25 MPC/AMT '69 Olds Cutlass 442 kit(s): These are kind of close, though not perfect. Not 100% sure, but I think they are from the 1/24 Monogram Rat Vega kit? Yes, I know, not 1/25, but if you're after 14" (since the Monogram wheels are 14" in 1/24 scale)...:
Oldcarfan27 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Not sure, but aren't they also in the AMT 62 Bel Air kits? Nice wheels for anything 60s!
Oldcarfan27 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Pretty sure there's some nice Torq Thrust IIs in their 68 Shelby too.
High octane Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 They might also be in the Revell '32 Three Window Coupe kit too.

No, those have textured, not smooth, spokes. 5 hours ago, Oldcarfan27 said: Not sure, but aren't they also in the AMT 62 Bel Air kits? Nice wheels for anything 60s! Those might work, as they are 14" wheels in 1/25 scale. Decent pics in this topic:
