Chuck Most Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 (edited) This is a model I originally built about ten years ago. It's a never-was SHO variant of the Probe, built using the AMT kit with the engine, transaxle, and wheels from the Taurus SHO. At some point the hood came up missing, so the model got tucked away and spend years getting coated in dust and cobwebs. A few weeks back I cleaned it off, and last night I painted an extra hood, fixed the droopy interior tub, added a license plate, and slapped it all back together. It's not my best work and it still needs a little more dust removal but it looks way better than it did! I have no idea what silver I used on it originally- the Testors Diamond Dust I used for the new hood is a shade or two lighter than the body. Whatever... I'm guessing that now that I've gone through all the trouble, the original hood will turn up any minute now... Edited October 15, 2018 by Chuck Most
slusher Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Very nice Chuck, I have not seen a Probe model in a while. Nice touch one the Taurus SHO engine.
