Reuhkapelti2 Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Hello! This is my latest production, Dodge Coronet Super Bee with V10 engine, so I call it Dodge Viper Bee. I made the rear and front spoiler, added some flairs to the side, put under the hood V10 engine with the Viper gearbox, bigger new wheels and tires. The chassis got the ladder bars to support the rear axle. Spray painted the body and then I had to fight with very weak decals that wanted to shatter into little peaces while I was handling them. But eventually I'm quite happy how the model turned out. Feel free to comment, thanks.
olschoolkid Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I like it. It certainly has an aggressive look to it.
Koellefornia Kid Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 To be honest, I´m not a big fan of the rear spoiler. But the front view is awesome! I love that "angry" look of the ´70 Coronet and it definitely looks great with the black paint! Also love the V10 power plant!
'70 Grande Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 (edited) Awesome looking build and conversion packing that engine into that engine bay! I'm curious how you created the front spoiler; to my eye it really enhances the overall look of the front end, and if I can recreate that piece, I'd probably add it to my own in-progress '70 Superbee build! Reuhkapelti2 Posted November 3, 2018 Author Posted November 3, 2018 Thanks everyone. The rear spoiler was originally a rag top cover from some convertible model, maybe from -30's or something. Just cut the edges off and twisted it to little curvy. I know, ain't no masterpiece but got that part out of the scrap box. The front spoiler is made of styreine, total 11 peaces glued together one by one. Painted it after the body got its colour. Sorry no good photo while it was under process.
