I will not bore you with all the details of this build, it is going to be OOB. I love the Italeri and ROG truck kits, the details are so much better than the AMT,MPC, etc. However, I need to get more creative and do some custom builds in the future.

So far this has gone together fairly well. However I did have a little trouble with alignment. I think the frame may have had a little bow or bend to it, but I have it fixed now. Not going overboard with details, but I am adding some light weathering. The pictures show where I am at with the chassis, the wheels are not attached or painted and I still have to paint all the air tanks and put them on.

You may notice that things seem a bit Grey. I will be adding some color to the body to offset the grey. I may go White with some bright Orange or Red stripes.

One thing I dislike about the Italeri/ROG kits is the multi piece cabs. I hate building the interior and then attaching the cab to that. So, on this one I figured out how to build the cab and paint it, then assemble it in a way that allows the interior to be finished inside the complete cab.

Great weathering on the frame. Looks used, but not overdone.

I'm with you on the multipiece cabs. I finished an Italeri Volvo FH16 a while ago and the instructions called for the cab to be built around the interior. I just built and finished the cab first, wasn;t too hard to get the interior stuffed in there after.

I have a couple more Italeri trucks in the stash. One cab over and two North American trucks. And I see they are all multipiece. Ahh well.

Well, I got some paint work done on the cab. I fought me a lot. O got everything done, then hit it with a clear coat and the red wrinkled. I had to sand it down and redo it. Royal pain, but it looks better now. I have a lot of details to add, but its getting there.
