Snake45
I assume the '70 body is a late AMT. If the glue bomb is also an old AMT, it MIGHT work. (Did you get the '74 hood with it? 'Cause you're gonna need that. Oh wait, I see the '74 in your pics has an L88 type hood on it, which is either gonna make things a lot easier or a lot harder.) I've never compared parts compatibility between that body and the old AMT annuals. I doubt it's perfect, but it's probably better than with an MPC. Does the '74 GB also have the front end/bumper? You're gonna need that too. If your '74 GB is an MPC, it's not going to help you much at all.

I cut out the rear section of the GB and then what was required from the AMT kit. The fit was pretty darned good! I replaced the windshield frame from the 75 MPC kit. That helped create the upper windshield frame that was lacking on the AMT ZR1. As far as the L88 hood goes I made one years ago for the Motion Manta Ray. I have resin copies.?? I have a very nice 74 nose to cast for it. This conversion took about 3 hours tonight. Not too bad. Superbird McMonte
Some progress on the Motion Vette. I couldn’t find my resin hood and was prepto make a new one. While looking for something else (of course) I found it. I will make a rubber mold tonight!

Superbird McMonte
This weekend I was able to mold the nose, rear bumper cover and L88 hood for the Baldwin Motion Corvette. Resin will be poured Tuesday.
