I'm liking the other builds here and thanks for the interest.

Chris, if it keeps you out of the dog house, I'll take the blame, glad to help...

Here are some pix of the fit and way I went about fixing my hood. First I added a piece of styrene to each side as a guide/stay. Some slight tweaking and a little sanding did the trick.

It should close the gap better once it is glued at final assembly...

That's basically what I did on the Shark I just restored. And then I glued the whole mess onto the main body. B)

Looks good!, Im gonna be doing the same since my down n dirty mock up is still sitting right next to me as I type..I keep telling myself not to mess with it right now

as for the dog house, I have an awesome MRS that has never once complained when I bought or drug something home...She listens to my hairbrained ideas since Im a designer and fabricator whos brain never shuts off..

Although honestly, i do wish she would stop me once and awhile..but Im not gonna tell her that!!!! haha

This about where it's at. This is a real POS, I tried very hard from the beginning test fitting, checking, rechecking and more test fitting. By the time I figure there was no way the glass would fit I was swamped. Now it's just a matter of pride to finish it...
