ec9000 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Has anyone tried fitting a resin cowl hood made for the amt 69 chevelle on the new revell 68 chevelle? If so, does it work without a lot of modification? Any resin makers doing one specifically for the 68 yet?
Can-Con Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 I've not tried it but I do know the AMT kit is considerably narrower than the Revell kit. One for an AMT '68 Elcamino might fit better. It looks closer to the width of the Revell kit.
crazyjim Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Make a couple of slices on the hood, bend it up and fill the sides with Evergreen strips.

I think your talking about the stock cowl hoods. But if you are looking for large racing cowl hoods,Lex's model marketplace,I think it's called.Great hoods, but again, their drag racing hoods.
