RDean58 Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Update on this project, I have the suspensions installed on the frame and the interior bucket sanded down to fit the AMT 67 floorboards. Thanks for looking, all comments welcomed.
RDean58 Posted February 8, 2019 Author Posted February 8, 2019 It was pointed out that the nose sat a bit too high, and I agreed. In fact, the whole model sat too high, so I removed some of the screw mounting in the back and took out the engine bay to see if that would allow it to sit better, I think we got a winner here now! I will need to modify the height of the engine bay to get it to fit properly. The frame, just your basic AMT 67 Impala frame. Close up of the engine bay, or the problem area. Newly revised ride height. Thanks for looking, comments welcomed.
Trendsetta68 Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 My favorite impala is getting an impressive treatment, nice job!
bisc63 Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Anyone know if the 68 mold still exists? Would like to find at least a glue-bomb to do up. Love the 60s Impalas, Biscaynes, Bel Airs, and Caprices!
