Anyone know where to buy 1/16 scale street tires. I have the Minicraft 31 Ford High boy & would like to spruce up the wheels & tires.

Search on Shapeways for 3D model car parts and tires, there are lots of 1/16th scale things, and I believe MOST parts can be scaled to any size, maybe. Also take one with you to an RC store, they do have some very realistic looking wheels and tires.

Phil, what kind of tires are you looking for? I briefly offered some 1/16 Firestone tall n' taller bias ply tires with artillery wheels on Shapeways...pulled them to tweak the 3D files and never got around to re-uploading them but I could! These photos are from forum user Rat-T, who ordered a set roughly this time last year.

They look pretty much like the stock ones in the kit. I'm kinda looking for old school Cragar, Keystone wheels with street tires.

Thanks

Look on eBay. While there are not a ton of choices, there have been several 1/16 scale kits available trough the years which might provide good tires and wheels for you. The recently reissued 1/16 MPC '79 Firebird has decent Goodyear GT Radial street tires, the AMT '57 Chevy Bel Air convertible included some nice Cragar S/S wheels, etc.

Do a search in the eBay Automotive Models & Kits section using 1/16 as your search term and check out your options. Don't forget to search Completed Items, too.
