Another Great Issue

There it was in the mailbox. It was another great issue of Model Cars Magazine. There was something there for a variety of audiences: diecast, resin, formula, new kits, show pictures, readers. You do a great job Gregg. Then this week I received my copy of the other hobby publication. While I am always glad to receive info and ideas regarding this great hobby I wonder if the other publication may soon be called a "pamphlet" instead of a magazine due its shrinking size!?!? Enjoy your Labor Day holiday.

just commented on the "other" board that SA noE was so thin the mail lady could just slide it under the door. MCM is by far the leader of the pack albeit a very small pack. received comments about SA, like check out the quality not the quantity, my thoughts were no quantity or quality. SA has really slid in the 15 years that i have subscribed. Thanks Gregg for being the standard bearer. Craig Cochran

I have subscribed to SAE since Gary Schmit starrted it. It used to be a "family' type magazine kinda like MCM, but different(you know what i mean).It was written by a guy who cared about his subscribers and the hobby. Then, it was bought by "Mega Publishers" and took a dive for the money, to the dismay of the subscribers. Then I found out about "Plastic Fanatic" and started with them. Then Roy said he was gonna stop publishing and I thought, Oh well, it was great while it lasted. I din't know it was gonna be re-born as a better mag, more color, more articles, just an all around GREAT MAG! I still get SA, but I LOOK FORWARD to MCM. I feel , Honestly, That its written by my friends, for my friends. I Think Gregg is doin a GREAT job with it, and I don't care if it comes late, as LONG as it KEEPS comin! I'm a subscriber for LIFE!!!

Look at it this way: yeah, it comes "late"...but in the end you're still getting a new magazine every month, right? Just don't pay any attention to the cover date and you'll be fine!

PS: I've been on Gregg's case about getting things back on schedule. We're making progress. Really!

Harry, not to worry, like you said, EVERY issue is a new one to me, I don't pay attention to the dates anymore, just as long as it comes. I'm easy like that, now that I've gotten to know about the little guy in the outrigger!.BUT, does he wear thermals in the winter? I'd hate to think he gets all froze up ina great white north!
