Goodwrench3 Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Hi all -- It seems like there is an output on the blower that really doesn't connect with anything ? Do I have something goofed up ?
Oldmopars Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 (edited) No, you have it right, that is just AMT poor quality. You can either move the blower back, or add to the shaft to make it look like it is connected. I guess we should be happy things are as nice as they are, this was long before the days of Computer aided design and 3D printing. Picture is from my Pete 359 Edited March 3, 2019 by Oldmopars
Goodwrench3 Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 Thanks ! If it's not too much trouble, could you also post a pic of how that piece called the "governor" attaches to the front of the blower? If you try to use the center hole in the front plate, the front of the blower won't rest on the block. There is also a hole in the upper right hand corner of that front plate of the blower, but the instructions are poor as to how / where it should be attached.
DrKerry Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 I usually cut the pin off the blower and add a piece of tubing to bring it out farther and look one piece. You have it together right!
