Back in after nearly 30 year hiatus

I'm excited to build my first model in nearly 3 decades. I can't believe it's been that long. I mainly built cars of different types. I once chopped the top on a early 30's Vicky, slammed a 90's Ford dually. Put some rubbing is racing marks on a Nascar. I was a young boy then and enjoyed customizing my kits to the best of my ability. I don't think I had any magazines then since my local convenience store didn't sell them. Just tried different things. 

While trying to accomplish my first kit I am a married family man with 3 kids 6 and under, a dog and studying for a new career in the auto collision world. Retired from the military a year ago.

Welcome back and do enjoy all the great things now available in the hobby. I'd say most of us here have gone thru the same 30 year break.
