raisin27 Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I did an L.A.P.D. car a bit ago and decided to try another police cruiser to correct some of the mistakes I made. I decided to the N.Y.P.D. this time. What an ugly combination of colors! I dont know what they were thinking when they came up with this paint scheme. Thanks for looking, Raisin
lizardlust Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I think the paint scheme idea was that no one would feel too bad when it got belted by the first errant garbage truck, bus or taxi!!! Nice job of finishing a JoHan classic!!
Joe Handley Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Wonder how many of them got shot by people trying to put them out of their misery
RadRidesByDan Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I think the paint scheme was chosen so that the motorist didnt feel bad when they got ticketed.... I know I wouldnt of....lets see....hmmmmmm ....ticket or be the cop driving that car Nice job on the recreation
RodBurNeR Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Mike, some how i can't wait for Christmas so i can watch Rudolph? haha..i think ya did a nice job! Cop cars are not that exciting IMHO, but they are neat to look at when done nicely like yours!
Wildrice Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Nice clean build. Not the best color combo but you made it look great.
RodneyBad Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 That's backin teh good ole days when cops cars where suppose to stand out in a crowd. Just so people knew they were there. Now they blend in. Great looking Fury. BTW: I like the new Dodge charger cops cars. have a few in Portland with the Low-pro light bars.
