Vince66
Just a generic v8 as not sure what color yet. Still need to beef it up girth wise thinking might paint it Olde yeller.
Hermann Kersten
Very nice project Vince, and i'm very surprised how detailed this truck is in this small scale. Apart from that, I find it very admirable that you can still put more details into it. Keep up the good work! Hermann.
Vince66
Just the beginning Herman mostly scratched like your truck's. Still have the generic trans to build, have some more photo etch coming. Seeing how far i can go with this truck build. Then can just build basic truck's. Getting ready to work on the interlock axle then can build the primary axle. Thanks all for checking it out. Vince66
Side step here for a minute Back when i was in N scale that's 1/160th scale i included a penny for comparison. This started out as a pretty rough kenworth or what ever it was supposed to be i made it into a Pete custom scratched the air cleaners, scratched the step boxes under the cab, made my own frame for it, scratched the custom sleeper cutting in custom windows, scratched the air foil, tanks, 3/4 fenders, used small aluminum tubing for the big pipes, several things are going to need to be replaced as the move didn't help this truck 19 years young since i built it . The trailer started as an n scale atlas 45' dry van that i seperated the axles to give it a spread axle, bmf'd the rear door's, made custom mud flaps and hangers their Mia, custom paint. Originally built for a close friend in GA then one day I got 4th he truck back called him he blew up threatening me and a 25 year friendship ended oh well life goes on. New n scale friend in Illinois will get this after i rebuild it re-paint it so on to the pictures. Don't laugh to hard Enjoy. Vince66
Okay gang got this stupid photo thing figured out here's my mini Driptroit 8V71 and fuller lone roadranger transmission hehehehehe pun intended. Test fit in the frame right out of the packages needing 0 cleanup. So mini freightshaker shaker is back more progress soon also bought a can of Driptroit Alpine green from Napa can always rely on them to have what I need paint wise. Mini Stang is dead until I can figure how to fix my screw up. Enjoy till next time. Edited May 18, 2019 by NothingAsFineAsaW9
Vince66
So starting to come together put this reefer trailer together for this truck until I finish my crackerbox up soon. Painted the GMC's inline Detroit at the same time i did cow chow's 8V71 in genuine Detroit alpine green. The inline Detroit is molded into the frame no way around it. And onto this vintage litterly old trailer kit that is coming along slowly will be using behind the Freightshaker until the crackerbox is done then mini Freightshaker gets it's cow chow wagon. Also used a #80 drill bit to core out the reefer exhaust plus 3 red rims and one replacement grey wobbly lol. Note the slider works. Enjoy Edited May 25, 2019 by NothingAsFineAsaW9
