landman Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 We have started downloading stuff to eventually move to an apartment or condo. I have two series of high quality magazines that I was thinking of selling. eBay has most of them individually. I would like to keep them whole. Are there websites where I could at least get an appraisal? I looked for some, found one which didn't work.
vamach1 Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Factoring in shipping cost it make it prohibitive to realistically sell them for much. You best best are local swap meets where you might get $1 a copy. I'm guessing the people you see selling single issues for $5 or more almost never sell any. It's come to the point where people are cutting out 2-3 pages and trying to sell them but even they are way overpriced. I probably have a few thousand car magazines and I'll either give them away or toss them out after I go through them and cut out some special articles. Sorry I had a better answer but they just weigh too much to sell them except locally.
landman Posted April 7, 2019 Author Posted April 7, 2019 perhaps I should specify. We're looking at 45 years of Automobile Quarterly and 22 years of Collectible Automobile.
