This whole subject reminds me of a conversation I had with my father years ago. We were discussing aging and his comment was "I'm a young man trapped in this old body". This was a man that shattered a leg skiing at Mt. Rose in the Tahoe area will in his 70's. The doctors told him he would never ski again and would have a very hard time walking. Within two years the ok'd him for Cross Country Skiing only and he had no problems walking which was something he enjoyed. Physical limitations are always going to be a determining factor but I think your state of mind is the most important factor.

My grandfather was 88 and near his end when he said that he still felt 18 inside!  Then he said something chilling.... “It all went so fast!”  Think about that. I often do!

Yes sir. The guy in the mirror may be old, but the guy in my head isn't, and as far as I'm concerned, that's all that really matters.

The guy in the mirror isn't you, he parts his hair on the other side, if he has any.

I’m seeing ads for dating Ukraine women in my neighborhood. How do they know my ethnic background?!

I posted the fore-mentioned ad with a smile on my face. My wife uses that exact life saving product  every day. There continues to be an ever growing number of people at model related events with "light black" hair. We either laugh about our aging or waste our precious bench time worrying about it which changes nothing. Build until they bury us ! What is that saying...."He who dies with the most toys wins"

Match.Com and other dating sites don't know that I'm married and too old to be bothered!

And for some reason both Uber and Lyft assault me daily via email to drive for them.  I'm ignoring them.
