bobthehobbyguy Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 I don't understand why going back to 9 issues is even being considered. At this point stick with 6. If that is successful then maybe 9. Sort of expecting to build a contest quality model and you've never build a model before. Would also be nice to get an update. Last update on magazine page is Jan 21. An official statement about the lifetime subscribe status would be nice.

At this point, it seems like 1 issue a year would be a major accomplishment. I'm skeptical that 6 or 9 are achievable.
bobthehobbyguy Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 For me I think 4 would be a reasonable goal. However that means every 3 months like clockwork. Consistency is necessary at this point. 9 is just not realistic.

I was under the impression that Gregg has been assembling several issues and the last part of them was to raise the cash to print them. Allegedly the subscriptions are sold out ( and a few extras were bought too) so all that should be left is to print and mail the magazine. I understand that printing a magazine isn't the same as going down to Staples and making a few copies, but it sure would be nice to get an update from Gregg, maybe even a teaser of what to expect.
bobthehobbyguy Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 I agree. Was the lifetime subscriptions a success. If so what are the plans for what's next. For those of us who don't do social media it would be nice to know.
