noname Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 New here. Well the shine hasn't worn off yet , I'll put it that way. Thought I should post something old until I get something new completed. This is a circa 1960 gasser. Everything is correct except it should of had pie crust slicks ( which I didn't have at that time). I like to build "real" cars that the everyday Joe would have done on a budget. Matthew
3men2s Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Let me be the first one to say OUTSTANDING!!!!! THE FADE PAINT WITH THE TOUCH OF RUST IS JUST EXCUISIT!!!! BRAVO.
Eeyore Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I agree great build there mate. So what's under the 'hood' of the old girl?

Willy Survive Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Excellent gasser. This looks so cool. Perfect weathering job too. If this is one of your old builds I can't wait to see a new one. Thanks for posting it. -Will

MrObsessive Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I'm not much into Gassers, but that just looks too real!! Excellent job and then some!!
flatheadgary Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 noname, that is just to real looking. by the way, we have a drag race called the antique nationals here and there is a guy who runs a chevy just like this. it also has a 6 banger too, it's faded green though. nice build.
ronr Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Good looking build noname! Looks just like something the average Joe would build in his back yard. Excellent weathering.
