Junkman Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 dude you are so mean, lol. you teasing me like that, lol. just messin witcha. but wow, nice collection, i see several i want, the lancia delta intergale evo the lancia fulvia hf the peugeot 205 1.9l gti and a couple of others. lol so they where made by quattroroute? Nobody really knows who made them. The magazine 'Quattroruote' commissioned them. Quattroruote is a member of the 'Fabbri' publishing house, so the models can be listed as 'Quattroruote' or 'Fabbri'. Best do both searches on Ebay and tick the 'worldwide' listings box.
jeffs396 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Here's a Welly Jeep Wrangler JK in 1/24. Just came in the mail today! Not available from US dealers so this one came directly from China. Going to convert to the four-door Unlimited, with a lift & some big meats on it!

Please IM me if anyone knows the source... thanks! i want to know as well I got my Jeep JK from a private seller on eBay...they had a BIN of $19.99 or best offer + $15.00 S&H, I offered $15 & they took it. With US postal rates what they are nowadays, I didn't think $30 shipped from China was bad, especially when these are unavailable here. Arrived in 13 days!
jeffs396 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Here's two more 1/25 SpecCast models I just got yesterday...I don't collect Lennox stuff, they just seem to be cheapest. Eventually both will be stripped & repainted: 1936 Dodge humpback panel: 1957 Dodge Sweptside pickup:

Jon Cole Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Bought this 1/24 Corvette Stingray "Sideswipe" Concept at the big box store a few weeks back, just uploaded...
jeffs396 Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Here's another Welly of a subject we'll never see in styrene This 2008 Tahoe is supposed to be 1/24 scale, but actually measures 1/25.7. Probably due to packaging restraints. Nicely detailed, a good replica I think. Now for some bigger tires...
jeffs396 Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 (edited) so its 1:25? some sites are selling it as a 1:27 It's definitely not 1:27 scale. It's advertised by Welly as 1:24, but it's a bit smaller...just a touch smaller than the Revell 99 Silverado, but anything you have in your parts box that's 1:25 or 1:24 like powerplants, wheels, tires will work on it. Comparo pics with the Silverado if you need, I'll be putting some different wheels/tires on it too I can post. Edited May 19, 2010 by jeffs396
Chuck Most Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 These aren't mine (they're my father's), but I'd love to see any one of them in kit form! (Yea... dream on, Chuckie... )
my name is nobody Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 I have a rather large diecast collection. alot of 1/64 stuff, about a hundred 1/18 cars, but very few 1/24 scale. I guess because this is a scale I build, and never see much that appeals to me. This 1/24 JADA Willys coupe did, however; and it displays well on this '47 Ford C.O.E. that is also from JADA;
Jon Cole Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I saw these today @ Hobby Town. Didn't buy any, just rare to see all three together.

hooknladderno1 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Hey Guys, Here are some of my die-cast: The first on is the 2008 Chevy Tahoe - sanded and repainted to be the new Command Vehicle for my semi-fictious Airport Fire Dept. Still needs some interior and exterior detailing and emergency lighting. Bigger Satco Desert Dueler tires replaced the originals. This required cutting down the factory rims which projected into the tire. This is the CSI Miami Hummer die-cast. It was originally silver. I sanded it and painted it Tamiya white and bright yellow. The graphics, striping and lettering are custom made. Still needs a little detailing and exterior emergency lighting... Third is a Matchbox Collectibles 1946 Dodge Powerwagon. This piece was originally hunter green and black. It too was sanded and repainted. One of the local fire companies had a mid 60's Powerwagon on a D-200 chassis. At the time, they were not available. So, I used the older Powerwagon and retained their emblems, colors and lettering. Now that the Modelhaus has a resin D-300, I may try to replicate the original vehicle that provided the inspiration. Not perfect, but it was an early effort... It now sports a siren-light on the roof since these pictures were taken.
