SpreadAxle Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 I bumped a shelf, and 3 trucks took a 4 foot dive to the floor. I decided that it would be therapeutic to open a fresh kit and build it. Here is the start of an amt Kenworth W925 being built as an actual W925. Hence the torsion bar suspension. I got this suspension from P and P Resin. I changed cross member #4 to the proper cross member for this suspension. I still have to add the rest of the parts for the suspension. The black marks on the bottom of the frame rails are where the bars mount. The other mods I've made are to move the passenger side fuel tank back so that I can can put a second battery/tool box on the passenger side. In case you noticed the 2 narrow cross members are missing, the kit's transmission set up is being saved for another truck. The W9 is my favorite truck, so it's about time I build one.
