Went to a crawler club cookout and get-together saturday and the club member who's house it was at decided to dig a little mud pit right before we got there. The club president and myself were the only ones brave enough to give it a try after he added more water and mixed it up a little better  But tomorrow....the cleanup begins B)

Oh, if you're wondering how thick that mud was, here's a vid of me removing my WK from the pit after getting it stuck. If you listen closely, you can actually hear a slurping sound as the truck comes out of the mud :(

That's just nasty!!!!

I'll stick to Lava Rocks!

After I locked the front diff, what a diff that makes!

Now, all I need is a reverse ESC, hint, hint, hint.....

Oh lava rocks! Bob had a few of those on his crawler course, great traction and they weighed next to nothing!

Now the Jeff and a few others are talking about building and competing with mud racers, the "trail rig" class would pretty much eliminate my WK from that class, but there's goinf to be a "pro" class that will be open to most anything short of a Maxx style truck (although with a little imagination, the Traxxas Slayer could work  )
