Grab this from my LHS thought I'd pass it along if there is anybody in the Portland Area

interested in going.

Model Contest put on by SABA (I'm perty sure about that)

I know it is short notice but it is part of a Car show.

I entered last year and i won 2 first places, one second and one fourth. If I still was around Portland, I would've entered again.

I hope that my GF will be available to enter a couple of my models in 2009 though. (She lives in Portland, I live in the Netherlands)

Am I really the only person on here in this area?

Jairus and James are in Salem...

I'm from Salem, but have had my head stuck in an oven ( Las Vegas) for 11 years...

hope to move home in the next few years..

Just thought I'd throw this out there.

There isn't much that happens around here for shows.

I haven't built a show car in awhile.

I just like to build for fun and relaxation.

(when I build)

Thanks For thinking of us here in Salem James, I took those flyers to the LHS here in town but am unable to go to the show this weekend.

I do have a hot rod 37 pick-up that could be ready for the Portland Roadster Show in March(?) Bob Paeth will tell you all it is the oldest running model car contest in the states, maybe the world.

SABA has been a modeling force in the Northwest since the early 80s. There are also many fantastic model builders in the area. I don't know of many who use this forum however.

You are not alone Rod.
