Shelby 427 1965 Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 So I’ve finally got around to one of my holy grail kits in the stash, Tamiya’s reissued Alfa 155. I bought one part started years ago on eBay when I was starting out in the hobby, and did one of my first rattle can paints... which naturally, was a mess. Setting my freshly airbrushed one next to it, it’s crazy the difference. Do you ever set your current build against one from years gone by and think about how much your skills have improved? Show us!
JollySipper Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 That's a world of difference, Tomo! Both of the cars in my example were painted with the same paint.... DupliColor Toreador Red.... This is from when I first joined the forum This one came later Again, it's the same paint.......
Dave Ambrose Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Congratulations, Tomo. That's a huge improvement on your painting. Painting is the hardest part of this hobby, and orange peel the bane of our existence.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Night and day, good luck and enjoy your new day.
