noname Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Imagine a young person in the 50's just out of school. Doesn't have alot of cash but wants to get in on this drag racing racket. What could this ambitious youngster do? Get a model A and an early Hemi from a junkyard and purchase as many of the performance parts as he/she can second hand. Do all the fabrication in the bakyard, learning as they go along. Voila! An early altered ready for the track ( the body will have to wait)! Thanks for looking.
mageckman Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Looks good. I remember a seein a few like this in the late 80's early 90's.
FRENCHBLUE72 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I wish we could find stuff like that in the junk yard nowadays nice build.
noname Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 Thanks guys. If you could find a body like that in a junkyard now it would be worth some money. The rat rod guys would pay good money just the way it is.

That's a beautiful build, Mr. Anonymous. Nice work! I was a teenager in the 50's, in Detroit. But I was more interested in being a hooligan back then.
