iBorg Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 I found these listed on eBay..... https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-in-1-Stainless-Steel-Model-Grinding-Stick-File-Parts-Set-Hobby-Craft-Tools/143385151405?_trkparms=aid%3D333200%26algo%3DCOMP.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20171012094517%26meid%3Da738264b812645f3b597ee0d948aabd4%26pid%3D100008%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D401930534733%26itm%3D143385151405%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100008.m2219 Anyone tried them or have feedback?
stitchdup Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 From the pics they look to be sticks to glue sand paper to. Not actual files and it says further down sand paper not included. Could be useful but you'd probably be able to do the same with popsicle sticks, and then you can shape them how you want
Bucky Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 I looked at those, too. It appears that you need self adhesive sandpaper in whatever grit you want to use, trimmed to fit the stainless sticks. Advantages might be that they are fairly thin and flexible, more so than plastic or popsicle sticks.
iBorg Posted January 25, 2020 Author Posted January 25, 2020 I often modify typical sanding stick by cutting them down. I'm just curious if any found anything special about them.
