Why this car is automatic. It's systematic. It's hydromantic. Why it's Greased Lightning! Remember the story about this car from the movie. The car is a 1948 Ford Deluxe convertible that was purchased by Kenickie in the summer of 1957 as a real junker. Then the car was modified by the T-Birds in the Shop Class at Rydell High. Now, in talking to a friend of mine who is an auto mechanic, he said that a modification like this probably couldn't be done by a HS Shop Class in a semester in the real world; buy hey, since when has Hollywood ever been in the real world. It was a pleasurable build, and I think it came out alright.

Looks good, nicely done! I have one of these in the stash, seeing this makes me want to break it out (not that I don't already have too many projects on the bench...)

Thanks, Larry.

Bill, there's a show in Oneida?  The only other shows I go to in CNY was SyrCON in October & the Fulton show in November.

No, that was me having a brain fart.  NNL East in Wayne, NJ is about the same distance from me as the show you mentioned in Chadwicks, but for some reason my brain got caught on "Oneida St" and typed that as the city instead.

That said, thanks to the magic of New York's bizzaro road system, the city of Oneida is about the same 2-hour drive for me as both other cities mentioned. ?
