Old Wildcat Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I go by Old Wildcat . I haven't built a model kit since I was around 12 years old. Well turn 66 in a few weeks. I'm going to just try to enjoy building but it might be hard due to unsteady hands shaking. I have some real bad health issues and was given the old 6 mo. To a year talk. So this is on my bucket list. 3 cars I want to try, 55 chevy,66 chevy ll and the 70 ss chevelle. I have one question can one use acrylic craft paint for say engines and undercarriage stuff if cleared afterward? Thank you.

Hey Old Wildcat, I'm sure someone got to your question first, but you might have a problem with craft paint being too thick to actually use. It could bury many of the finer details of anything on so shall a scale. But, you could always give it a shot on the bottom and undercarriage.
