I use Kens Kustom Fuzzi-Fur and try to get paint as close to the flocking as possible. Paint the area that flocking will cover , make sure you have a catch plate under the item , drop some material onto the painted area and pat down with your finger , tip it over to knock off the loose stuff,,,this ones in red

I've used water based glue but matching paint worked best for me...

Alex's tutorial is great especially about using a tight knit strainer when applying it. However, there's one important piece of equipment you may seriously want to consider.......

A respirator, or at the least some kind of dust mask. Those flocking particles are very fine, and if you're susceptible to any dust or have any asthma/allergy troubles, I would strongly advise wearing one when using flocking.

When I apply flocking I'm a little more timid in how I apply it because of all the dust. I apply it square by square as per this pic here.........

Then I pat it down like Alex does.....

I just can't stand all the flocking going everywhere......and it kinda saves on the flocking in case you're running low.

BTW, sorry about the big original pic.......I forgot to resize it before I posted it!

Hope all this helps! :)

Thanks Bill. I'm starting to step more and more on unfamiliar turf. I guess thats what makes us a lil better with each build. I only hope to be the builder that some of you guys are.
